THE FRCT PROTOCOL

A moment of uncertainty.
A response you have practised.

01Assess.Recognise the hazard.
02Block.Limit the exposure.
03Hand off.Bring in the right help.
90 minutes of training. A protocol you can use.
A clear first response for every workplace.

Practical workplace training built around three actions: Assess, Block, Hand Off.

About Averti Institute

Closing the gap between prevention and professional response.

Averti Institute develops FRCT Cyber First Aid, our workplace cyber first response programme. FRCT began with a cybersecurity workshop at the University of Windsor in 2023. The questions kept coming back to one thing: what should someone do when an attack is happening?

That question became our focus. We develop practical cyber first response training that helps employees recognise a hazard, follow an approved containment procedure and give their IT team a useful incident report.

Our work brings together cybersecurity practice, academic research and experience building repeatable delivery systems.
